ABOUT PEG HARMONY
Peg is a dedicated fitness and wellness professional with a passion for helping others achieve balance and harmony in their lives. Her journey began as a single mom struggling with weight gain, lack of energy, and depression. Facing the challenges of “mom burnout” while working full-time and caring for her children and aging parents, she sought ways to find peace and improve her well-being.
Discovering the benefits of exercise, she started working out at a gym, where the endorphins from her workouts led to weight loss and increased energy levels. This positive change sparked a twenty-plus year quest to understand the full benefits of exercise and share her knowledge with others. Over the years, she earned multiple certifications, including NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), NFPT (National Federation of Personal Trainers), Functional Movement Specialist, Resistance Training, Midlife Fitness for Women, TRX, and SPIN.
Understanding that a healthy lifestyle encompasses more than just physical fitness, she embraced a holistic approach that includes stretching, healthy eating, rest, and daily movement. Her exploration of Yoga, which builds strength, awareness, and harmony in both mind and body, led her to become a certified Yoga instructor. Her personal training practice flourished as she integrated functional strength training, aerobics, and Yoga into her wellness programs.
More recently, she delved into the ancient energy healing technique of Reiki, earning her Master Reiki Degree in early 2022. This modality, which promotes relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch, complements her comprehensive approach to wellness.
Today, Peg combines her extensive knowledge and experience to help others find balance and achieve their wellness goals. Her dedication to promoting a balanced lifestyle in body, mind, and spirit continues to inspire those she works with.
She enjoys a variety of activities such as exploring nature, hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, cooking, dancing, reading, and traveling. She also loves spending time on the beach and cherishing moments with her family, friends, and pets: her dog Enzo, and two cats, Mojo and Mylo.
